Doctor of Biological Sciences (1948), Professor (1948), Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR (1960)

Russian. Born in the village of Soldatskoye in Mordovia.

Graduated from Kazan State University (1929).

Worked at the Department of Zoology at Samarkand State University, Head of the Department of Zoology at KSU, Senior Researcher, Head of the Laboratory at the Institute of Biology of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR.

Specialist in theoretical and applied ichthyology.

Honored Teacher of the Kirghiz SSR (1960). Over 80 scientific works published, including 3 monographs.

Under his supervision, 12 candidate dissertations were defended.
