Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Taldy-Suu, Tyup District, Issyk-Kul Region.
Graduated from KGMI (1952), postgraduate studies at the Leningrad Pediatric Medical Institute (1955).
Worked as head of the laboratory at the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR, dean, head of the laboratory at TsNIL, director of the Research Institute of Resortology, rector of KGIFK, and since 1985 - head of the department at KGIFK.
Specialist in the field of normal human physiology and sports medicine.
Academician of the International Academy of Natural and Social Sciences (1999).
Awarded the Honorary Certificate of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR (1978), the "Dank" medal (2000).
Honored Worker of Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (1988).
Published over 250 scientific works, including 6 monographs.
Under his supervision, 2 doctoral and 36 candidate dissertations have been defended.
