Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Kerege-Tash, Ak-Suu District, Issyk-Kul Region.
Graduated from KGU (1978), postgraduate studies at the Institute of Philosophy and Law of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR (1986), and doctoral studies there (1993).
Worked as a foreign correspondent for the State Committee for Television and Radio of the Kyrgyz SSR, junior researcher, researcher, senior researcher, scientific secretary, head of the department at the Institute of Philosophy and Law of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR, vice-rector for research, vice-rector for academic affairs at BGU, since 2002 - head of the department at the Institute of Philosophy and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, head of the department at the I. Arabayev Kyrgyz State Pedagogical University.
Specialist in the fields of ontology, theory of knowledge, and history of philosophy.
Laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize of the Kyrgyz SSR in the field of science and technology (1989).
Published more than 100 scientific works, including 7 monographs.
Under his supervision, 2 candidate dissertations have been defended.
