Tatar. Born in the city of Perm.
Graduated from the Molotov Choreographic School (Perm, 1955), the State Institute of Theatre Arts named after A.V. Lunacharsky (Moscow, 1962), and the postgraduate program of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR (1970).
Worked as a ballet dancer at the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre, leading soloist of the ballet, teacher-repetiteur, choreographer at the Kyrgyz Opera and Ballet Theatre named after A. Maldybaev, associate professor, and since 1986 - vice-rector for scientific work, and since 1992 - professor at the Kyrgyz State Institute of Arts named after B. Beishenaliev.
Specialist in the field of theatre studies and ballet studies.
Academician of the Public Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan (1992).
Awarded the medal of the USSR (1985).
Honored Worker of Culture of Kyrgyzstan (1992).
Published more than 120 scientific works, including 10 monographs, 4 textbooks, and educational aids.
