Graduated from Tashkent State University (1959), and completed postgraduate studies there.
Worked as a research associate at the Institute of History and Archaeology, research associate at the Institute of Archaeology of the Academy of Sciences of the Uzbek SSR, senior lecturer, associate professor, professor, and head of the department at KGNU.
Specialist in the history, archaeology, and numismatics of Central Asia.
Awarded the medal of the USSR.
Published more than 100 scientific works.
