Graduated from KGMI (1967), clinical residency (Leningrad, 1972).
Worked as a surgeon at Chuy Central District Hospital, head of the department at the Republican Clinical Hospital in Bishkek, assistant, and since 1993 - Professor at KGMA, head of the department at the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialist in thoracic surgery. Honored Doctor of the Kyrgyz Republic (1995).
Published over 150 scientific works, including 6 monographs and 3 inventions.
Under his supervision, 4 doctoral and 3 candidate dissertations have been defended.
