Buryat. Born in the Jidinsky District of Buryatia.
Graduated from the Military Veterinary Academy of the Soviet Army (1948).
Worked as head of the laboratory, deputy director, and since 1989 - advisor to the IBF of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialist in the field of tissue cultures and virology.
Awarded orders of the Great Patriotic War (2), Red Star (2), Badge of Honor (2), VDNH of the USSR, and medals of the USSR and Kyrgyz Republic (19).
Honorary Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (1994).
Published more than 130 scientific works, including 6 monographs, 8 inventions, and 4 patents.
Under his supervision, 6 doctoral and 17 candidate dissertations have been defended.
