Graduated from the History Faculty of KGU (1975), postgraduate studies at MSU (1979).
Worked as a lecturer at KSHI, since 1981 - senior researcher at II NAN KR.
Specialist in the history of Kyrgyzstan in the 20th century.
Published more than 40 scientific works, including 1 monograph.
