Russian. Born in Almaty, Kazakh SSR.
Graduated from the Zootechnical Faculty of the Moscow Veterinary Academy (1957), postgraduate studies at KSHI.
Worked as a junior and senior researcher, head of department, and since 1998 - head of the laboratory at Kyrgyz Research Institute of Animal Husbandry.
Specialist in the technology of livestock product production, breeding, and selection of cattle and yaks.
Awarded the medal of the USSR and the Honorary Diploma of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Published over 120 scientific works, including 4 monographs.
Under his supervision, 2 candidate dissertations have been defended.
