Graduated from the military medical faculty of Kharkov Medical Institute (1958), postgraduate studies at Moscow State University and the Research Institute of Pharmacology of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences (1964).
Worked as an assistant professor, senior researcher, head of the laboratory, professor, and head of the department at KGMI, and since 1999 - head of the department at Osh State University.
Specialist in the field of biochemistry and bioenergetics of the body under extreme conditions (hypoxia).
Published more than 160 scientific works, including 1 monograph, 1 textbook, and 13 educational-methodical manuals.
Under his supervision, 1 doctoral and 5 candidate dissertations have been defended.
