Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Aral, Talas region.
Graduated from Saratov Polytechnic Institute (1966), postgraduate studies at MEI (1971).
Worked as head of the Department of FPI, director of VNIIKAMS, Minister of Education of the Kyrgyz SSR, acting academician-secretary of the Academy of Sciences and director of the Institute of Automation of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, since 2000 - rector of OshTU.
Specialist in the field of technical cybernetics and automation.
Active member of the New York Academy of Sciences.
Awarded with Honorary Certificates and medals of the USSR and the Kyrgyz Republic, the "Datsk" medal.
Honored Worker of Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. Published more than 200 scientific works, including 8 monographs and 10 inventions.
Under his supervision, 3 doctoral and more than 10 candidate dissertations have been defended.
