Worked as a school teacher, lecturer, senior lecturer, associate professor, head of the department, vice-rector for science at Osh State University, and chairman of the Osh regional branch of the Assembly of the Peoples of Kyrgyzstan.
Specialist in the field of Kyrgyz literary studies.
Awarded the medal of the Kyrgyz Republic (1995), the "Dank" medal (1998).
Honored Worker of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic (1991).
Published over 100 scientific works, including 6 monographs and textbooks.
Under his supervision, 2 candidate dissertations were defended.
