Yalymov Nariman Galimovich (1926),
Doctor of Technical Sciences (1988), Professor (2000), Laureate of the State Prize of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of science and technology
Tatar. Born in the city of Atbasar, Akmolinsk region of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Graduated from the Kazakh Mining and Metallurgical Institute (Alma-Ata, 1954), postgraduate studies at the Institute of Mining and Geology of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR (1961).
Worked as a milling machine operator at a factory in Alma-Ata, mining master, head of a section, chief engineer of a mine in Dzhezkazgan, junior researcher, scientific secretary, and since 1966 - head of the laboratory at the Institute of Mining and Geology of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Specialist in underground mining of mineral deposits. Awarded medals of the USSR (6),
Honorary Certificate of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Honored Worker of Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. Published more than 120 scientific works, including 8 monographs and 4 inventions.
Under his supervision, 1 doctoral and 5 candidate dissertations were defended.
