Candidate of Geographical Sciences (1974), Professor (2002), Laureate of the State Prize of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of Science and Technology (2000)
Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Ak-Bashat, Moscow District, Chui Region.
Graduated from the Faculty of Geography of KSU (1960), and completed postgraduate studies there (1967).
Worked as a teacher, senior teacher, associate professor, dean, head of department, and since 1994 - professor at the J. Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University.
Specialist in the field of geography and ecology.
Published more than 90 scientific works, including 2 monographs, 2 textbooks, and 3 study aids.
