
In 1954, he graduated from high school in his native village, in 1959 — from the philological faculty of KGU, and in 1969 — from the Higher Party School under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union in Moscow.
He began his labor biography in 1959 as the head of a department at the editorial office of the newspaper "Kyrgyzstan Pioneri," and from 1961 he was an editor at the "Mektep" publishing house, from 1965 he was an editor of the newspaper "Emgekchil" in the Ton district, and from 1969 he was the head of a department at the editorial office of the magazine "Communist of Kyrgyzstan."
From 1972 to 1980 and from 1983 to 1986, he worked in the apparatus of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan.
From 1980 to 1983, he was the head of Glavlit under the Council of Ministers of the Kyrgyz SSR, and from 1986 to 1987 — the chairman of the State Committee for Publishing of the Kyrgyz SSR.
He has been published since 1959. His first poetry collection "Mandalak" ("Tulip") was published in 1960. The poet's poems and fairy tales have been published in Russian. He translated works by A. Barto, S. Baruzdin, S. Marshak, V. V. Mayakovsky, A. Mickiewicz, Rasul Rza, F. G. Lorca, and others into Kyrgyz. He participated in the publication of translated collective collections.
A member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union since 1964, a member of the Union of Soviet Writers since 1975, and a member of the Union of Journalists of the USSR since 1959.
He was elected as a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR of the 10th convocation, and to the Ton district council of people's deputies (in 1966 and 1968).
