
From 1971 to 1972, she worked in the editorial office of the newspaper "Sovet tik Kyrgyzstan." Since 1972, she has been teaching her native language and literature in eight-year schools in the villages of Iyri-Suu and Min-Bulak in the Naryn region, and from 1975 to 1982, in the Ak-Bulak and Kerege-Tash eight-year schools.
Since 1982, she has been working at the N. G. Chernyshevsky State Library, since 1984 at Library No. 3 in Frunze, and since 1987, she has been the head of the library at the "Arashan" Creative House of the Union of Writers of Kyrgyzstan.
She has been published since 1962. Her first poetry collection "Kyz duynesu" ("Girl's Secret") was published in 1975. Some of the poetess's individual poems have been set to music and enjoy wide popularity.
