Poet, prose writer Abdrasul Kilychev


Poet and prose writer A. Kilychev was born in the village of Orto-Sai near the city of Naryn in the Kyrgyz SSR to a peasant family.
In 1939, he graduated from high school in his native village, and in 1939, he graduated from the Frunze Teacher's Institute, followed by the RPSH at the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan.
In 1940, he was drafted into the ranks of the Soviet Army, and in 1942, he graduated from a military school and fought on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War until Victory. He began his labor biography as a teacher in a rural school, then worked in the editorial office of the newspaper "Tian-Shan Pravdasy," as an editor at Kyrgyzgosizdat, and as head of a department at the newspaper "Leninchil Zhas."
In 1947, his poems were published in the book "Zhash Akyndar" ("Young Poets"). During the poet's lifetime, in 1949, a collection of poems titled "Yrlаr" ("Poems") was published. He translated the fairy tales of H. C. Andersen into Kyrgyz and many works of Soviet poets.
He has been a member of the Union of Soviet Writers since 1942.
