
He began his career in 1968 as a correspondent for the newspaper "Kyrgyzstan Madeniyaty," and from 1970 until the end of his life, he worked at the Naryn regional committee for television and radio broadcasting.
He started publishing in 1960. His first poetry collection "Toodogu emurler" ("Life in the Mountains") was published in 1972. The poet is the author of three poetry collections.
He was a member of the CPSU since 1972 and a member of the USSR Union of Writers since 1982.
