Moldotau
A mountain range in the Inner Tian Shan, in the central part of Kyrgyzstan, south of Lake Son-Kul. The range stretches generally from west to east, between the valleys of the Kökömeren and Naryn rivers. The length of the ridge is about 150 km. The maximum height is 4185 m. It is mainly composed of limestone. The lower slopes are covered with mountain steppes and meadows, while higher up there are areas of spruce forests and juniper groves.
