Melon Honey Plants

An annual plant with climbing stems. Blooms in May. Produces nectar and pollen. Cultivated in all regions of Kyrgyzstan, except for high-altitude areas. An important honey plant. Produces up to 30 kg of honey per hectare.

An annual plant with sprawling stems. Blooms from May to August. Cultivated in irrigated lands in low-mountain valleys. Honey productivity — up to 20 kg per hectare.
Common Watermelon, from the Gourd Family.
An annual plant with a creeping stem. Blooms from June to August. Cultivated in desert-steppe zones on irrigated lands and dryland. A weak honey plant.
