,
surrounded by the ridges and massifs of Naryn-Tau (a part of the Tian Shan system). Elevation above sea level: 2023 m. Bayetovo Village

Bayetovo is the center of the Ak-Tal district, located 120 kilometers from the city of Naryn (the regional center). It is one of the developed villages in the region. There is a significant population of cattle and small areas of arable land, which are decreasing every year due to the proximity to the Naryn River.

Population: 9607 people.

The village is connected to other settlements by roads, which can be impassable during the winter. Despite its status as a district center, Bayetovo is a remote provincial settlement where the population engages in livestock breeding and grows grains and vegetables on a small scale. The economic infrastructure, trade, and service sectors are poorly developed here.

Previously, the village was known by the names Baygenchek and Dyurbeljin. The current name is given in honor of the most famous local native – the singer and People's Artist of Kyrgyzstan Musa Bayetov.

Until the end of the 1980s, Bayetovo village had low houses, randomly located streets, and potholes. Overall, the village was dusty. There were no alleys or sidewalks at all. In the early 1990s, significant changes began. The dusty village quickly transformed into a mini-town. Respected residents of the Ak-Tal district, Turdu Zhyrgalbekov, Orokchu Baiserkiev, and Ömürbek Dölöev wrote about the changes in the district center. According to them, the internal infrastructure of the village was improved, ditches were constructed according to architectural standards, 15 km of sidewalks were laid, roads on 18 streets were asphalted, 24 bus stops were built, and 2 route buses were launched for transporting local residents. Low shops were demolished, and in their place, 2 shopping complexes were built in 3 months. A square named Dörböljun was also constructed, which local residents call Kyzyl Ayan. Two clubs for cultural and mass events and an open swimming pool were built, and sand was poured nearby to simulate a beach, with lighting installed.

The village has two secondary schools: the Shukurbek Beyshenaliev School and the Esengul Karasartov School.

The village periodically suffers from the consequences of flooding. In addition, the earthquake that occurred in January 2011 caused significant damage to several buildings in the village, which have not been repaired to this day.

Educational institutions in Bayetovo include a vocational technical school. Within the framework of a UNICEF project called "Community Management of Education," educational groups have emerged in the village, consisting of teachers, school administrators, representatives of local self-government, child protection specialists, medical workers, social leaders, and businessmen who discuss and set educational priorities. The concept of this project is to delegate educational direction directly to the residents of the village.
