
On March 20, a book and illustration exhibition titled “Let’s not forget, friends, may this journey be long, long, long. Even if the century ends and we disappear from the world, there are roads to return and meet!” will open at the A. Osmonov National Library in Bishkek, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Kyrgyz poet Alykuла Osmonov. This was reported by the library's press service on March 19.
According to the information, as part of the Days of Remembrance for the poet, there will be performances by the People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Kanikei Eralieva, composer Jamiyla Muratova, the children's choir "Ak Shoola," representatives of the international creative academy "Nurbordor," and artists from the Chyngyz Mamaev Theater, Nurzat Kadyrkulova, as well as Duyshenbek Ukuyev, Azhybekov Sharshenbay, and others.
The book and illustration exhibition will feature books, newspaper and magazine articles, and illustrations depicting the life and creative path of A. Osmonov.
Public figures, representatives of science, culture, and education, writers, poets, university students, schoolchildren, and all admirers of Alykuла Osmonov's talent will participate in the event.
