The MaryPoppins Educational Center, together with Kamila Isabekova - the head of the Montessori club "Blue Bird," will unveil the topic of the most common, and moreover, dangerous misconceptions parents have about raising and developing children. We will discuss what each child is truly capable of, how they learn, how parents can hinder their development, and how they can help their child become a happy and harmonious individual.
We will debunk the seven most dangerous myths:
1. Children love toys, and the more, the better.
2. "Dangerous" objects (knives, scissors, needles) should be hidden from the child.
3. An adult must help the child until they grow up.
4. There can be no childhood without fairy tales.
5. Children learn the same way adults do.
6. Children should be praised a lot and often.
7. You cannot do without playpens, walkers, and strollers.
For families planning to come with children, the "ART Ville" Painting School will conduct engaging visual arts classes for them, costing 200 soms.
