The Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, in collaboration with the Defense Council of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Ministry of Labor, Migration, and Youth of the Kyrgyz Republic, is holding a Republican Contest of Military-Patriotic Songs in honor of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Participants from all regions of the republic will take part in the contest. Winners will receive valuable prizes, diplomas, and certificates. The aim of the event is to enhance the patriotic spirit and love for the homeland among students.
The Republican Contest will take place from March 25 to 28 at the Kyrgyz National Conservatory named after K. Moldobasanov (Bishkek). The final gala concert will be held on March 27.
