The international career of young Russian musician Nikita Borisoglebsky began after successful performances at the international competitions named after P.I. Tchaikovsky in Moscow (2007) and Queen Elisabeth in Brussels (2009). In 2010, new triumphs followed for the violinist: Nikita Borisoglebsky won first prizes at major international competitions – the F. Kreisler competition in Vienna and the J. Sibelius competition in Helsinki – confirming his international status as a musician. In 2013, after an unequivocal victory at the “Monte Carlo Violin Masters” competition in Monaco, the violinist concluded his competitive performances, marking the end of a series of eleven international competitions where N. Borisoglebsky won top awards.
N. Borisoglebsky's concert schedule is extremely busy. The violinist performs extensively in Russia, Europe, Asia, and America, and his name is featured in the programs of major festivals such as the Salzburg Festival, the summer festival in Rheingau (Germany), “December Evenings of Svyatoslav Richter,” the Beethoven Festival in Bonn, the summer festival in Dubrovnik (Croatia), “Stars of the White Nights” and “Square of Arts” in St. Petersburg, “Musical Kremlin,” the O. Kagan festival in Kreuth (Germany), Violino il Magico (Italy), and the “Crescendo” and “Stars of Baikal” festivals by Denis Matsuev.
Nikita Borisoglebsky performs with many renowned ensembles worldwide, collaborating with conductors such as Valery Gergiev, Yuri Simonov, Eri Klas, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Alexander Vedernikov, Alexander Rudin, Dmitry Liss, Konrad van Alphen, Hannu Lintu, Jukka Kuusisto, and others. Recently, his chamber music partners have included outstanding musicians: Rodion Shchedrin, Natalia Gutman, Yuri Bashmet, András Schiff, Boris Berezovsky, Alexander Kniazev, Michel Strauss, Augustin Dumay, and Lovro Pogorelich.
Since 2007, the musician has been an exclusive artist of the Moscow Philharmonic, and since 2011, Nikita Borisoglebsky's interests in Europe, America, and Asia have been represented by the largest London agency, IMG Artists.
Since 2010, N. Borisoglebsky has been collaborating with the Franco-Belgian record label Outhere. Two CDs by the violinist have already been released under the “Fuga Libera” label: Henri Vieuxtemps' Violin Concerto No. 3 with the Liège Philharmonic Orchestra (in the complete collection of A. Vieuxtemps' violin concertos) and a monographic disc of Édouard Lalo featuring his “Spanish Symphony,” Sonata Op. 12, and miniatures with the participation of the “Sinfonia Varsovia” orchestra, conducted by Augustin Dumay, and pianist Jean-Philippe Collard. The disc of E. Lalo received five stars in a review from the authoritative music magazine “Diapason” in France.
