Artem Dervoyed is one of the most famous Russian guitarists, whose guitar can be heard around the world in venues such as Carnegie Hall and Jordan Hall (USA), the halls of the Berlin and Cologne Philharmonics, Tonhalle Düsseldorf (Germany), Bunka Kaikan (Japan), the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, Tchaikovsky Hall, and Svetlanov Hall of the House of Music (Russia), among others.
The French press has called him the "king of the guitar" ("Universe Guitare" 2005, #1), and recognized masters refer to him as a "top-caliber artist" (Norbert Kraft, Canada).
Artem Dervoyed is a laureate of 37 international competitions (in Russia, Italy, France, Greece, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, Israel, USA), having won first prizes in seventeen of them. He was awarded the "Golden Guitar" prize and the title of "Young Hope of the Year" at the International Guitar Convention in Alessandria (Italy, 2007). One of the highest awards was also won in the homeland of the guitar – Spain, where Artem won the competition of Her Royal Highness Princess Cristina in Toledo (Spain, 2009), becoming the first Russian to receive the first prize.
Artem solos with many world-class orchestras: the Symphony Orchestra of the Berlin State Chapel (Germany), the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra (USA), the Rome Philharmonic Orchestra (Italy), the Moscow Symphony Orchestra "Russian Philharmonic," the Presidential Orchestra of the Russian Federation, and others.
