Location: Kyrgyz Republic, Naryn Region, Kochkor District, Ak-Kiya village
The purpose of the festival is: To revive and promote the traditions of nomadic cuisine, develop yurt tourism, preserve the customs of the Kyrgyz people, revive traditional methods of producing the national drink "Kymyz," and an eco-tour dedicated to the dairy products of nomads.
Main activities of the festival: demonstration of the technology for making the national drink "Kymyz," as well as other national dishes, master classes in which every participant can take part, tasting of national dishes.
The festival is held as part of a project initiative following the footsteps of the ancestors' nomadism.
