The celebration of International Youth Day will take place on August 12 at the Ministry of Labor, Migration, and Youth of the Kyrgyz Republic. On this day, master classes for guests will be conducted by artists, chefs, and other professionals in their fields. The mood of the evening will be set by young dancers, musicians, and comedians from Kyrgyzstan.
Performing with creative numbers will be dancers: Zhan Voinov, Atai Omurzakov, the group "Beavy," and musicians: the group "Mirrors," Begish, Bayastan, violinist Estebes and his group, Perizat Dolotbakova, and Azhara Cholusheva. Throughout the evening, we will be joined by the KVN teams "Bishkek" and "Asia Mix."
At the entrance, visitors will receive a mini-map with the names of the sections. Here, everyone will find something to their liking! With the sunset, those interested will be able to watch short films by Kyrgyz directors.
The evening program will feature Aliyasbek Alymkulov, Minister of Labor, Migration, and Youth of the Kyrgyz Republic, Pradip Sharma, Deputy Permanent Representative of the UN in the Kyrgyz Republic, and representatives of participating organizations.
The event was initiated by the youth public organization "Jash Tolkun" ("New Wave") with the support of the Ministry of Labor, Migration, and Youth and the UN (volunteers).
In 1999, the UN General Assembly supported the recommendation of the World Conference of Ministers Responsible for Youth (Lisbon, 1998) to proclaim August 12 as International Youth Day. Events dedicated to this day are held to draw the attention of the global community to the most pressing issues concerning youth: employment, relationships with the older generation, poverty eradication, climate change, etc.
