The Second Festival of Author's Song "Red Apple," dedicated to the 85th anniversary of V. M. Shukshin, will take place on August 23-24, 2014, in the natural park near Bishkek.
The festival is organized by the youth association of creative professionals "Yunona ProMedia." As in the previous year, the event will gather not only authors-performers, contestants, and fans of bard music, but also lovers of active recreation and simply city dwellers who wish to spend a couple of days in nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
1. Goals and Objectives of the Festival:
popularization and promotion of author’s song;
assistance in realizing the creative potential of authors-performers;
promotion of a healthy lifestyle and active civic engagement;
education of youth and preservation of cultural traditions;
bringing together creative professionals;
formation of a positive image of the country.
2. Time and Place: August 23-24, 2014; recreation base "Tatyr."
3. Requirements for Participants: age - no restrictions; citizenship - any.
4. Conditions for Contestants: application for participation;
provision of an audio recording of their song (audition if necessary);
registration as a participant by August 20, 2014.
Additional conditions:
all participants and contestants must adhere to public order and safety measures during the festival; organizers have the right to prohibit participation in the festival for individuals violating moral and ethical norms of behavior;
contestants using someone else's copyrighted works may be disqualified;
participants who have not registered are not allowed to participate in the festival.
Prohibited:
to use a phonogram;
to engage in trade, as well as to place advertising materials on the festival grounds without written permission from the organizers;
to bring and consume alcoholic and low-alcohol beverages during the festival;
to drive vehicles onto the territory of the recreation base and tent camp;
to cut down trees and shrubs.
All rights to conduct the author’s song festival "Red Apple," its emblem and logo, photo and video materials belong to the management of the NGO "MTS 'Yunona ProMedia'©.
All questions regarding the organization of the festival (transportation, meals, accommodation in the yurt town or tent camp, security of the territory) will be handled by the organizers and partners.
All participants (contestants and spectators) must fill out a questionnaire and receive a name badge. Those who have not registered for participation in the festival will not be allowed to enter.
Contestants must provide the lyrics of their songs and pass an audition by August 20, 2014. Laureates of the author’s song festival "Red Apple" in 2013 are exempt from the audition.
All participants of the competition will receive diplomas and prizes from the organizers and partners.
Festival Program.
August 23:
10:00 AM – arrival at the recreation base, registration of participants;
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM – open mic;
12:00 PM – opening of the second festival of author’s song "Red Apple";
12:00 PM – 5:00 PM – competition program;
2:00 PM – lunch for all festival participants;
3:00 PM – 5:00 PM – continuation of the competition program.
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM – results announcement, awarding of competition winners.
7:00 PM – dinner.
9:00 PM - bonfire, songs with guitar.
August 24:
10:00 AM – wake-up;
11:00 AM – breakfast;
12:00 PM - musical and entertainment program "Farewell to Summer";
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM - hike in the mountains to the waterfall;
4:00 PM – lunch;
5:00 PM – 7:00 PM – continuation of the musical and entertainment program;
8:00 PM - departure to the city.
