Mysterious Squares of Kyrgyzstan
A few kilometers from the village of Kashka-Suu, along the road to the Ala-Archa Gorge, there is a small dacha settlement near which a mountain range begins. On the eastern slope from the dacha settlement, several squares were discovered, surrounded by ditches 40-60 cm deep, with rounded corners on all four sides.
Later, other "squares" were found on other slopes as well. The total area of the squares varies from 10 to 15 meters.
In the main photograph, one such "square" can be seen, with the surrounding ditch of another similar "square" visible in the foreground. These strange squares, surrounded by ditches, were photographed by me from different angles, but unfortunately, the photos do not accurately convey their actual layout.
Two squares were found on a relatively flat surface, while a similar square was discovered on the slope of a mountain, having the same general outlines and characteristics. It is worth noting that, in addition to the squares, artificial pits with a diameter of a couple of meters and a depth of half a meter were also found in this area, the purpose and origin of which are also unclear.
Below is a gallery of all the photographs of the squares surrounded by ditches, located quite close to each other.
In total, several of these strange "squares" have been discovered. They are located at some distance from each other in a random order. However, thanks to modern satellite maps, it has been established that there are more than forty of them in this area.
By examining satellite images, one can conclude that they are located in this district over an area of about five to eight square kilometers. Quite a number of mysterious squares are concentrated in one locality. Further research can be conducted, such as excavations, measuring radiation levels, etc.
All identified "squares" are marked with red dots on the map below (Use the zoom in or out tools to view each "square" ditch separately). Additional markers for discovered objects will be added as they are found.
Where do so many strange objects come from? How long have they existed? Are they artificial? Or a natural anomaly?
A mystery! Draw your own conclusions…
Versions of the Origin of Anomalous Objects
Local residents and owners of dacha plots are certainly aware of the strange squares, but no one knows their actual number and origin. There are two prevailing theories, but neither provides a logical explanation for their formation:
The construction of high-voltage power lines, as there are many ski resorts operating in this area. However, nothing resembling construction materials has been found at the site of the strange objects. Moreover, the square ditches are scattered across the terrain in such large numbers and so chaotically that they have no common connection characteristic of human activity related to construction.
Structures for livestock. However, no building materials have been found, and there is no sense in constructing such a large number of structures in one area in such chaotic disorder, especially since these objects are located both on relatively flat surfaces and on mountain slopes.
The theory of ancient burials. This version needs to be verified through excavations. However, it is already known that burials have never been conducted in the form of framing in a square ditch anywhere and at any time.
