Secrets of the Ala-Archa Gorge
It has been noted that some anomalous phenomena, such as the appearance of UFOs, are more frequently observed in sparsely populated or rarely visited areas: in mountains, jungles, deserts, and the Far North. One of the "anomalous" regions is the Tien Shan mountains, from where reports of encounters with the unusual are constantly coming in.
In the Kyrgyz part of the Tien Shan foothills lies the Ala-Archa Gorge, once a favorite spot for climbers. Rarely does anyone among them not observe a UFO or find traces of the Yeti here. Nowadays, climbers visit less frequently, but mysterious incidents still occur.
Local rescue team members and residents of mountain villages claim that UFOs appear over the gorge almost every night. More often, these are lights flying at high altitudes that sharply change direction at full speed. Sometimes the crafts themselves can be seen. They mainly appear around the Free Korea Peak. Some even believe that there is an alien base within this mountain.
UFOs also circle near the Teke-Tor peak. In late summer of 1991, several climbing teams observed an unusual sight in the vicinity of this mountain: five huge spherical metallic objects "descended" from the peak and, to the horror of the witnesses, began to circle low above the ground. Then, gaining speed, they rushed off in the direction of the Aksai ridge.
At the beginning of the same year, participants of the All-Union Climbing Gatherings witnessed no less captivating sights. In the area of the Corona Peak, four gigantic cigar-shaped objects, nearly a kilometer long, appeared.
They hovered over the mountains for more than an hour, shining with glossy black sides. Sometimes smaller "cigars" would detach from them, fly around, and then merge back with the mother ships. Eventually, the large ships began to drift slowly south until they disappeared from sight.
There have also been landings of flying saucers here. Two episodes have been recorded where unknown crafts approached a person, as if hearing their call. One such episode occurred in 1984. A group of five climbers noticed an unusual object in the sky.
Intrigued, the people began to discuss among themselves that it would be good to take a closer look at this thing. Suddenly, the ship made a sharp turn and sped directly towards them. In shock, everyone fell into the snow. The lens-shaped UFO hovered just three meters above them for a couple of minutes and, before flying away, illuminated them with a pink beam. Fortunately for the climbers, the incident ended without tragic consequences.
People have repeatedly observed the pilots of these objects. One case, witnessed by a dozen and a half people, occurred in 1992. While climbing a steep slope at an altitude of about four thousand meters, the climbing team saw a slender, very tall human figure in a silver jumpsuit just above them.
The stranger's height was estimated at 3.5 meters. He stood on a very narrow ledge. How he got there was completely incomprehensible. In front of him was a multi-meter abyss, and behind him was a sheer cliff. He stood motionless and looked at the ascending people. Fear gripped them.
They stopped climbing and began to descend. One of the climbers had a camera with him, but for some reason, it never occurred to him to take a picture. A few days later, they decided to climb the same route again, bringing cameras and a video camera, but the stranger on the ledge was no longer there.
