
According to the Academy of Sciences, during a working trip of a professor from the Ufa Scientific Center to Kyrgyzstan, a long-term cooperation agreement between the two institutes was signed. The scholar noted during the signing of the agreement that a translation of 'Manas' into Bashkir is being prepared for release in Ufa. According to him, philologists from Bashkortostan expressed interest in collaborating with their colleagues from Kyrgyzstan on the translation of the national Bashkir epic 'Ural Batyr' and other outstanding works of oral folk art into Kyrgyz.
