Exhibition of Paintings "The Influence of Bad Habits"
An exhibition of paintings titled "Зыяндуу адаттардын кесепеттери" ("The Influence of Bad Habits") is taking place at the Alykul Osmonov National Library.
According to the library's press service, the exhibition was organized by the "Green Moon Society" and the Bishkek City Hall.
The exhibition features paintings by cartoonist artists from various countries such as Turkey, Iran, China, Brazil, Belgium, Spain, France, Bulgaria, Croatia, Azerbaijan, and others.
The themes of the paintings reflect the harmful habits of people—alcoholism, drug addiction, smoking, gambling addiction, or ludomania, and internet addiction, the press service notes.
"The aim of the exhibition is educational, especially for the youth, who must understand that harmful habits are a particular type of social parasitism. Leading a healthy lifestyle is the key to health, social well-being, and stable development for every member of society," the message states.
The exhibition will run until September 8.
