On World Clean-Up Day, Sooronbay Jeenbekov cleaned up in the Botanical Garden
Today, September 15, on World Clean-Up Day, the head of state participated in a cleanup event held at the Gariyev Botanical Garden. Along with the president, well-known ecologists, volunteers from the Eco Demi public foundation, and staff from the President's Office cleaned the area of the garden from dry wood.
After the cleanup, Sooronbay Jeenbekov familiarized himself with the condition of the Botanical Garden. The acting director of the Botanical Garden Gulaiym Donbaeva and the Mayor of Bishkek Aziz Surakmatov informed him about the plans for the reconstruction of the green zone.
For 10 years, volunteers have been calling on people to join and clean up their planet. This year, 150 countries, including Kyrgyzstan, joined the campaign.
