The procedure for purchasing land for multi-story construction will change in the capital
In Bishkek, it is planned to revise the process of purchasing land plots intended for the construction of residential multi-story buildings. A draft resolution of Bishkek "On the approval of the Regulation on the procedure for purchasing land plots previously provided for temporary (urgent) use under lease for the design and construction of apartment buildings in the city of Bishkek" has been submitted for public discussion.
The city hall indicated that changes to the Land Code of the Kyrgyz Republic require an update of the regulatory legal framework in the field of land relations. This includes the purchase of plots that were leased for the design and construction of residential complexes.
The proposed document includes several innovations, among which is the mandatory presence of a pledge agreement for the purchase, as well as the possibility of transferring 10% of residential premises in new buildings to the ownership of the municipality as an alternative form of purchase. In addition, a methodology for calculating the cost of purchasing land plots will be approved.
