The city administration of Osh has pledged 4 municipal enterprises to secure a loan of 2 billion soms.

The Osh City Hall has pledged four municipal enterprises to obtain a state loan amounting to 2 billion soms.

According to information provided by the municipality, the following enterprises have been selected as collateral assets:

- The city improvement and landscaping combine of Osh;

- The municipal transport enterprise;

- "Osh Water and Sewage Canal";

- The municipal enterprise "Osh Bus Station".

On March 9, former mayor of Osh, Jenishbek Toktorbaev, confirmed the receipt of the loan from the Cabinet of Ministers. He noted that the funds are provided for a period of six years at an interest rate of 1% per annum with a grace period of one year. The loan was allocated in two tranches of 1 billion soms each. "These funds are directed towards the development of urban infrastructure. We appealed to the government and the Jogorku Kenesh, and thanks to the support of the deputies, the financing was approved," Toktorbaev reported.

Toktorbaev also shared information about the distribution of budget funds:

- 1 billion 100 million soms were allocated for the management of city roads;

- an additional 300 million soms were allocated from the local budget and the Stabilization Fund, of which 100 million are also directed to the needs of the road management;

- the remaining 100 million soms were transferred to the capital construction management.

As a result of the project implementation, according to Toktorbaev, 70 streets in the city have been repaired.

The decision to pledge municipal enterprises is based on the resolution of the Osh City Kenesh No. 51, adopted on June 20, 2025.
