– Together with the Kyrgyz Republic, we will try to find points of contact based on the natural resources and development trends of each country. I would like to note that Shanxi Province is the main energy province of China. We also have potential in coal mining and cement production. Additionally, we offer tourism and information cooperation with Kyrgyzstan, – said Sun Yuejin.
The director of the Department of Commerce of Shanxi Province also noted that Chinese entrepreneurs would like to establish cooperation with all countries along the Great Silk Road. According to him, they are particularly interested in joint work in the agricultural sector, as well as in the fields of energy and heavy industry.
It should be noted that the Second Economic Forum "Issyk-Kul – 2015" began its work in the Kyrgyz city of Cholpon-Ata on August 26, with the participation of officials, diplomats, and businessmen from Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and other countries. According to the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Taiyrbek Sarpashev, more than 20 agreements with foreign investors are planned to be signed within the framework of the forum.
– A year has passed since the first forum, during which significant changes have occurred in our country. One of the most significant events was Kyrgyzstan's accession to the Eurasian Economic Union. This step creates favorable conditions for the joint development of the member countries of the union. For foreign investors and entrepreneurs working in Kyrgyzstan, the opportunity has arisen to enter a common market with a total of 170 million people, – Sarpashev reported.
