IMF suggests Kyrgyzstan improve investment climate

“We believe that improving the business environment and creating equal economic conditions for all market participants will lead to a reduction in the level of the shadow economy and the withdrawal of activities from the shadows.”

He expressed the opinion that this will depend on improving the investment climate, strengthening property rights, and addressing issues related to manifestations of corruption.

He added: “Of course, it is necessary to acknowledge that these problems cannot be solved in a day, and this is a long-term process.”
