According to Urmataayym, their life together, during which they had four children, lasted 14 years. She claims that in recent years, her husband regularly used physical force against her. “Every week he raised his hand against me. I had a broken jaw and injuries to my ears. He beat me so badly that it was hard to recognize me. He hit me with a belt and wires on my legs and other parts of my body. I hoped he would change for the sake of the children,” the woman says.
Urmataayym also recounted that during the cold season, her husband and his sister kicked her and the children out of the house. After turning to the police on January 13, she faced refusal from the investigator of the Kyzyl-Kiya city department of internal affairs to initiate a criminal case, and the materials were transferred to the Public Security Service.
According to the ruling of the Kyzyl-Kiya city court dated March 3, the incident occurred on January 12, 2026, when B.Y. beat Urmataayym. At the court hearing, he admitted to hitting his wife out of jealousy.
Urmataayym requested a harsher punishment, including arrest; however, the court found the man guilty under Article 70 of the Code of Offenses and sentenced him to 40 hours of community service.
The singer's ex-wife noted that he works as an inspector for the Tax Service in Kyzyl-Kiya and believes that a person who has committed violence should not hold a public office or perform in front of an audience. Additionally, she expressed dissatisfaction with the objectivity of the court's decision and requested a review of the actions of the judge who handled the case.
