On March 7, the bodies of two men were discovered in a field near the village of Ak-Torpok, showing clear signs of violent death.
According to information from the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui region, the bodies were located at the edge of a plowed field, approximately 200 meters west of the road connecting the villages of Petrovka and Ak-Torpok, at the 48th kilometer of the Bishkek-Osh highway.
It has been established that the deceased are D.D. (born in 1999) and K.B. (born in 2003). D.D. had been listed as missing since March 1, 2026, following a report from the Internal Affairs Department of the Lenin District of Bishkek.
In connection with this incident, the investigative department of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui region opened a criminal case under Article 122 (Murder) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The law enforcement agencies managed to identify the suspects: K.O. (born in 2001), S.B. (born in 2007), M.B. (born in 2005), and S.U. (born in 2006).
Three of them - S.B., M.B., and S.U. - were detained in the Kadamjai district of the Batken region and then transported to the Chui region, where they were placed in a temporary detention facility. The court decided to remand them in custody for two months.
K.O., who had been wanted for some time, was detained on March 9, 2026, in the Osh region and was also placed in a detention facility.
The investigation suggests that on February 25, the suspects deceived the victims - B.K. and D.D. - into a rented apartment in Bishkek. There, they were beaten, and their money and iPhone 13 and iPhone 15 mobile phones were taken, which were later sold at the "TSUM" and "Berekett Grand" shopping centers.
After that, the victims were kept in the apartment without food. In the early hours of February 26, around 00:30, their hands were bound with tape, their eyes were covered, and they were taken away in a rented Hyundai Sonata along the Bishkek-Osh highway.
In the area between the villages of Petrovka and Ak-Torpok, the suspects led the victims into a field, where they were brutally beaten and strangled. The bodies were then moved deeper into the field, and the perpetrators fled.
On the way, the suspects discarded the victims' clothing and shoes on the roadside near the villages of Ak-Torpok and Bekitai.
On February 28, trying to evade punishment, the suspects fled to the village of Alga in the Kadamjai district of the Batken region.
During a search of one of the suspects, M.B., in the village of Alga, police officers found a fake GKNB identification card in the name of the wanted K.O., as well as uniform clothing with the insignia of a police lieutenant.
The investigation is ongoing.
