Kuvanychbek Kongantiev, who previously held the position of deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, has been detained by the officers of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS). The main charges against him are related to corruption and illegal enrichment.
Kongantiev is currently in a temporary detention facility managed by the SCNS.
Recently, a video appeared on social media detailing the alleged corruption schemes related to the transfer of municipal land into private hands. The video claims that the former deputy may have been involved in these actions.
Additionally, a material was published on the YouTube channel "Sayasat KG," discussing Kuvanychbek Kongantiev's assets. The video reports that 30 plots of land are registered in his mother's name, and his acquaintances own numerous companies.
