A man suspected of rape has been detained in Bishkek. According to the Main Internal Affairs Department, he attempted to escape from law enforcement authorities in a truck.
According to law enforcement agencies, on March 10, information was received at the duty station that an unknown individual had committed violent acts against a girl. The suspect was quickly identified and pursued. Despite his attempt to escape, he was apprehended.
The detained individual turned out to be a citizen named D.T., born in 2006. He was placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department. A criminal case has been initiated against him under Article 154 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to eyewitness accounts, about ten patrol cars were involved in the pursuit, and the suspect was surrounded in the area of the Alamedin market.
