Took three cars for $40,000 and disappeared: a fraudster was detained in Bishkek
In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, a man suspected of committing large-scale fraud has been detained. This was reported by the press service of the Interior Ministry of the Oktobersky District.

It became known that a citizen named J.E. contacted the investigative authorities. He reported that someone had deceitfully taken possession of several vehicles.

According to the applicant, the fraudster, while on Chokan Valikhanov Street, managed to gain his trust and rented a Kia K7 car worth $16,000 for a month. Subsequently, he also obtained two Hyundai Sonatas, valued at $12,000 and $12,500 respectively.

However, out of the total amount requested, the fraudster paid only $20,500, after which he stopped making contact.

Based on the collected materials, the investigative authorities of the Oktobersky District initiated a criminal case under the article "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan. During operational activities, police officers were able to identify and detain the suspect — a 42-year-old citizen O.A. He was taken to the investigative authorities and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police Department.
