The investigation established that K.U.A., an employee of the security department of the Pervomaisky district of Bishkek, illegally appropriated a significant sum of money between September and December 2025, promising to assist in obtaining driver's licenses. The money was transferred through a banking application.
On March 10, as part of a joint operation with the Internal Investigations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the police officer was detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB. An investigation is currently underway.
The GKNB emphasized that obtaining driver's licenses must be done only through legal means.
“President Sadyr Japarov has repeatedly emphasized the importance of strict adherence to legislation and the unacceptability of corrupt actions in this area,” the press service added.
