The first youth forum of BRICS and SCO countries is taking place in Ufa from July 26 to 29, with youth leaders from Russia, Brazil, India, China, South Africa, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, as well as guests from South Korea attending. This was reported by the head of the Kyrgyz delegation, Zarina Nurmagambetova.
According to reports, the main issues being discussed at the event include cooperation in the fields of science, culture, education, and innovation management. Young leaders from among public activists and journalists represent the Kyrgyz Republic at the forum.
"The format of the current forum is an effective tool for establishing communication between the youth of BRICS and SCO countries. Kyrgyzstan, along with other developing countries, is putting forward initiatives that will enhance cooperation between our peoples," notes Nurmagambetova.
The first youth forum of BRICS and SCO is actively covered in leading news publications in Russia. The forum is attended by Lilia Gumerova, the first deputy chair of the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture; Pavel Krasnorutsky, chairman of the Russian Union of Youth; Marat Magadeev, deputy prime minister of the government of Bashkortostan; Elena Sutormina, chair of the commission for the development of public diplomacy and support for compatriots abroad; and other prominent public and political figures from Russia.
"Within the framework of the forum, representatives of youth organizations will develop programs and projects that will contribute to the strategic enhancement of partnerships between BRICS and SCO states. Upon completion of the forum, a final resolution will be signed, which will serve as the basis for the implementation of the proposed programs," activists reported.
The forum is organized by the All-Russian public organization "Russian Union of Youth," the government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Rossotrudnichestvo, and the Public Chamber of Russia.
