The most diligent and active students of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University were awarded Yeltsin scholarships.

The annual ceremony for the presentation of named scholarships from the Foundation of the first President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin took place at KRSU. Certificates for scholarships were personally handed to the best 50 students of the university by the Executive Director of the Foundation, Evgeny VOLK.

- You have earned this scholarship through hard work and active community engagement. This demonstrates a high level of education and culture both of the university and its students, - said Evgeny Volk during the award ceremony for the scholarship recipients. - Boris Yeltsin did a lot for KRSU to make your university a leading higher educational institution in Kyrgyzstan and throughout Central Asia.

For ten years now, the most successful and active students from all faculties of KRSU have been nominated for the Yeltsin scholarship annually. The scholarship is awarded for one year; however, if students continue to show excellent results, this may serve as a basis for re-nomination for the named award.
