A Bishkek resident reached the quarter-finals of Russia's largest music project "Main Stage"

Kyrgyzstani Kairatbek Primberdiev has advanced to the quarterfinals of the Russian music show "Main Stage." He initially performed Oleg Gazmanov's song "My Thoughts Are My Horses," but the jury did not particularly like Kairatbek's rendition of it. However, a permanent jury member, popular rock singer Diana Arbenina, remembered the songs Kairatbek sang during the casting and suggested he perform one of them without musical accompaniment.

His performance of the romance "Tell Me, Girls, Your Friend" made a very strong impression on the jury members - Mikhail Boyarsky, Valery Leontyev, Diana Arbenina, and especially Vladimir Presnyakov.
– I can boldly say that this is the best I have heard in the entire history of "Main Stage." Kairatbek is a benchmark for male vocals. You are a gem. I say "yes" a hundred times. And I will keep my fingers crossed for you, – expressed his admiration Presnyakov.
According to Primberdiev, he began to engage in music in childhood when he heard the music of Valery Meladze and Leonid Agutin.
– I studied various music styles myself and read biographies of outstanding singers. In my opinion, music is the communication of the singer with the people, the transmission of one's state of soul. I believe that if the Russian listener loves you, it is for life. I want to win the love of the Russian listener, – said the Kyrgyzstani.
