According to the addition from the government of the Kyrgyz Republic, included in subparagraph 2.1.1 of paragraph 2.1 of the traffic rules, the driver of a motor vehicle is required to stop and, at the request of police officers, provide them for inspection with a "certificate of state registration as an individual entrepreneur or a voluntary patent, or their notarized copies in the case of engaging in entrepreneurial activities for the transportation of passengers and cargo using this vehicle."
This government resolution of Kyrgyzstan was published in the newspaper "Erkin Too" on October 23, 2015, and will come into effect 15 days after its official publication, that is, on November 8.
– After the entry into force of this resolution, in the absence of the specified documents for private entrepreneurs engaged in the transportation of passengers and cargo (taxi drivers), administrative protocols will be drawn up by the traffic police officers, and measures will be taken in accordance with Article 244 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic (fine of 500 soms), – noted the press service of the traffic police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.
