The semifinals of the first annual award – "Most Fashionable Awards 2015" will take place on February 29 at the "Saltanat Palace" restaurant in Bishkek. The short-list will be announced during an evening in a social event format.
"The Most Fashionable Award" is a new project of the "World Beauty Congress," uniting countries in the Eurasian region to identify which brands, companies, large, medium, and small private enterprises, organizations, as well as media personalities, designers, makeup artists, artists, and creative individuals are truly popular and recognized at the international level. In Kyrgyzstan, it is implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Tourism of the Republic. Applications could be submitted by anyone in 50 nominations, but later 5 nominations were reduced. In November 2015, the opening ceremony of the award took place, where all the nominees were announced, and shortly after, a voting website was launched, allowing people to cast their votes for nominees, along with Facebook and Instagram pages for the same purpose. Based on the voting results, all votes are summed up, and taking into account the opinion of the international jury, the best and "Most Fashionable" in each nomination is selected.
The event at "Saltanat Palace" will be held in a social format, featuring a red carpet, a buffet, and a photo session. In addition to announcing the nominees, guests can look forward to a buffet and an entertainment show program with performances by pop stars, dancers, show groups, as well as a series of fashion shows from well-known brand stores and local designers. The hosts will be Aigul Kurmanova and Bakyt Baisariev.
