On Sunday, April 27 of this year, a tourist cleanup event took place in the Alamedin Gorge. The cleanup was attended by the Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Union of Hiking Tourism of Kyrgyzstan, and the student movement of Kyrgyzstan. The event was supported by the Swiss project "Helvetas Kyrgyzstan" and the Tash-Moinok rural district.
As a result of the cleanup, more than 2 tons of household waste were collected and removed from the Alamedin Gorge and the surrounding area of "Warm Springs".
The Department of Tourism, the Union of Hiking Tourism, and the student movement of Kyrgyzstan urge the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic to cherish the beauty of their homeland and to participate in tourist cleanups in their regions, which can enhance the tourist attractiveness of each region.
We remind you that the next cleanup will take place on May 3, 2014, in the Kegetin Gorge.
